I’m Ingo Hinterding, a Creative Technologist and enthusiastic maker. Over the years, I’ve co-founded a handful of startups, and I’m now leading the prototyping team at CityLAB, Berlin’s public innovation lab. In my work, I focus on using technology and design to explore new possibilities in the public sector, and I’m often invited to speak on software prototyping and AI. I'm very honored to be named a Rising Star on the 2025 Government AI 100 list.

With BärGPT, a new AI assistant for the Berlin state administration launched on 25 November 2025, developed by CityLAB Berlin in close cooperation with the Senate Chancellery.
